Over the summer of 2025, the PWA participated in multiple outreach events with the goal of spreading awareness about our mission and the projects we carry out in the Petitcodiac Watershed region.

Throughout the season, the PWA attended several events focused on environmental stewardship, including:

  • Enviro Fest
  • Eco Fest
  • Zero Waste BBQ
  • International Monarch Monitoring Blitz by Nature NB
  • Fundy Biosphere Beach Clean-Up & Garbage Swim

We also took part in other public events across the Petitcodiac Watershed region, where we had the opportunity to share information about our work. These included Moncton Cares BBQ, Color Fest, LLNB Media Day, and four different block parties in Salisbury.

In addition, we hosted our own public event, the Rain Garden Volunteer Maintenance Committee Training Day, where we taught volunteers about rain gardens and how to care for them.
